About PhillyWine
PhillyWine is a Philadelphia-based wine education company and WSET Approved Program Provider offering WSET wine certification from Level 1 through Level 4 Diploma, along with wine classes, tastings, events, and educational experiences. Established in Philadelphia in 1999, PhillyWine has provided professional wine education for more than three decades.
Our History
PhillyWine has been owned and operated by Noelle Allen and Dr. Matt Kirkland since 2022. Prior to 2022, PhillyWine was owned and operated by Neal Ewing. Established in Philadelphia in 1999, PhillyWine has operated continuously for more than three decades.
We are one of only 33 WSET Approved Program Providers in the world who can offer WSET Diploma courses.
PhillyWine and the Wine School of Philadelphia are separate and independent wine education businesses. PhillyWine is not affiliated with, owned by, or operated by the Wine School of Philadelphia.

We are dedicated to providing exceptional experiences in wine education and to building thoughtful, mutually beneficial relationships both inside and outside the drinks community.
What We Do
PhillyWine provides wine education for students ranging from curious beginners to experienced wine professionals. As a WSET Approved Program Provider, PhillyWine offers the WSET Level 1 Award in Wines, Level 2 Award in Wines, Level 3 Award in Wines, and Level 4 Diploma in Wines.
Beyond WSET qualifications, PhillyWine offers wine tastings, masterclasses, educational events, industry collaborations, and wine travel experiences designed to connect wine education with the people, places, and communities behind wine.
